The Tucker Trimmer

 I read on someone’s blog about this trimmer. After trimming a few blocks my usual way and not liking the outcome, I bought the Tucker trimmer. Oh my what a difference!  Compared to the way I was cutting it’s no wonder some seam joining and points are off. Wish I’d had it to start with, but it’ll all work out I’m sure. This is the trimmer

Starting the layout

 Although I’m not done trimming the squares, I just had to see the layout. I think it’s going to work out!

Now these are sewn together…oh dear don’t look too closely.  

Next project..Plainview Quilt along

 I’m starting this project out of all the many I could start since I paid for the kit.  Here a photo of what it will look like.   I’m making the baby size..this ought to wake up a baby!

This is the guide to colors used. I think she reversed a couple colors and now I’m not sure which version I followed.   Don’t think it matters other than to confuse me…

The last stitches

 Oh it’s sure good to be done, sort of, with this quilt, I am tired of it. It’s going in my To be Quilted Later pile while I either finish something else or start new!  I like how it all came together…

Need more geese

 Need just a few more flying geese, then 4 corner squares. then can I do something new!
