New Floor day

BEFORE: This is how my dining room looked for the last 11 years, with blue carpet in the dining room and 1/2 bath, linoeum in the kitchen:

This is after 4 hours of work, they still have the laundry room to do, and some finish work. Sure is pretty!

more redos

Here is Texas Tears, redo and Richmond, redo. I learned that for these blocks you must be precise, in cutting and sewing. And if it doesn't work out the first time, do it over as many times as necesssary! and remember the seam allowance so you don't lose your points!

Sunday Finish - little blue basket

I completely took apart the first basket, put back together and now the seam allowances are correct! But I give up on the handle!

I haven't put on a handle yet. Yikes am I going to lose the basket points? the brown bottom looks okay, but what about those 2 upper blue ones!
