Quilt top completed, Plaid Obsession
Yeah made my deadline for this top to be finished. Tomorrow, since there is one more day in January, I will get it pinned! Then I'll have 2 in the UFO pile. That's not too daunting. So today I am digging into my 2nd WIP, Poseidon, which I didn't get very far on but did get the pieces cut. This project will be my February goal to get into a completed top.

Working on Plaid Obsession
This is the first WIP from some past year, Plaid Obsession, that I am determined to finish before I start something else! I have added the first 2 sashing rows and hope to finish this part tomorrow. Then there are a couple more borders. It would be nice to have the whole thing quilted by the end of the month, but I'll be happy with just a finished top. Then the second WIP from past years is Poseidon, which I started with Red Pepper Quilts. The 3rd WIP is Bento Box from a few years ago too. If I were to finish one a month, then I can start something new in April! I'm going to work as fast as possible, because I really want to do the scrappy trip everyone is doing!!
Moving along, rows done and some sewn together!

Pinning Easy Street
I am hoping to keep my resolution of not starting a new project until the current one is finished. I plan to quilt this simply with stitch in the ditch.
Also finally finished the 2nd sock of a pair I started probably 2 years ago! They are nice and warm.

Easy Street top without borders
photo taken in daylight, will add border next
here it is with the border, but no matter what I do or how many pictures I take, I'm not really in love with this quilt. I should have done all dark purples and not put any light in, then those spear points would show up better. Also greens and turquoises should have been same tone. But my grandaughter thinks it's pretty!

We have a quilt top!
No floor space to take a picture, but here it is on the bed. I worked all day to get this finished, it really went together quickly and seams matched up pretty well. It's not ironed yet, but it's done, Yahoo!
Easy Street, Part 8, Block B
and now the B blocks are done, and starting to lay out the design.... Too early to pass judgment on whether I like this quilt or not! I'll start sewing squares together after I do some rearranging.

Easy Street, Step 8, Block A
there are 16 of these, pretty easy to assemble. Of course they won't end up in this configuration, there is a Block B to add.

easy street, step 8
now to devise a quick method of putting the blocks together. Not sure I like all the different colors, patterns. Need to make more to see what the design really looks like! Oh and I need to turn these on point! Here they are with the setting triangles.
