I started another scrappy trip around the world, this one is a Moda jelly roll, can't remember the name of it. The colors are lovely and soft.

Nabby's Dowry
I decided to play along with this sew-along, as seen on Kathy's Quilts, http://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/ and also at Heartspun Quilts, http://www.heartspunquilts.blogspot.ca/
I have an abundance of blue HSTs so that is the color I am making my blocks, at least as long as they hold out. I've been saving these for years, of course with the idea that "someday" I'd do something with them. I believe that day has come! they aren't squared up yet but I'm liking them so far. I plan to make a bigger size quilt than in the directions.

July - not much sewing
I guess it's the hot weather, but my enthusiasm always wanes when July comes around. I am finishing up 2 quilts for Quilt of Valor, but I likely won't get back in the swing of sewing until it's cooler!
