The pattern calls for another 2-1/2” border but I don’t know what to use plus it’s big enough. I don’t remember the last one being this big. Bad news, my 15 year old Bernina 440QE apparently can’t be tuned up. I did think it would last forever or at least I hoped! It makes a horrific grinding noise and is quite sluggish. Just a matter of time before it’s done. That $3000 was the best money I’ve spent, tons of quilts made. Good thing I bought the singer 301 for a trusty backup cause I can’t afford a new machine.
