Lil'Twister

I have been fascinated with the twister quilts, so I broke down and bought the small template.  I know I could have made it myself....but.  It was really fun, and I learned a few things.  Like don't use large scale fabric, don't use border fabric that is close to the color of a pinwheel at the edge.  It was difficult to get the hang of cutting around the template, so I made it easier by slicing off the little rubber feet that were glued to the bottom.  They were great to keep from slipping on the fabric, but not easy to maneuver the rotary cutter.  It probably needs a border, then quilting, for a table topper I guess!  Now I want to make a baby quilt of this size (5" squares) and then a bigger quilt using the 10" squares and the larger Twister template.
