Hanging the Lone Star

 I got tired of waiting for someone to help me hang this, so I did it myself. I should have cleared off the couch first

And started quilting the QOV. If I cannot find someone in my area to give it I’ll send to Alycia in Colorado. I’ve sent her QOV quilts in the past. This was the last quilt along

 It’s heavy and big, will give it a light wash then on to something else!  I love it… the backing is fabric that Christa had for sale

  Trying to figure the best way to hang this!  Also have started the quilting on the lupine quilt…it is so large I swear I’m not making another big quilt

 Lone Star is coming along nicely!  So many strings to bury  I wonder why you can’t see the quilting when you zoom in.  Something about the photo I took wasn’t right…

 Wow this is such a big quilt to handle. I was tuckered out after positioning, spray basting and trimming. Then dry ironing both sides. But I’m sure glad that part is done, been putting it off long enough. Next I have to find a backing for my QOV quilt, then both it and Lone Star quilt will be ready to assemble and quilt. I hope my old Bernina is up to the task!
