Lupine blocks all done

 I finished the last block, so now ready to sew together and make borders. At this point I could work on my other mystery quilt blocks, but I believe I’ll finish up Bonnie’s first. I love how the blocks turned out and really want to see a quilt top!

On the right track…

 Here we go, it’s looking better already  I think it looks better from a distance! Too much white for my liking

Oh no I sewed the first block wrong!!!

 Kitty ears are backwards. Thank goodness only a few to redo😭😭😤

I had to go and make one correctly. Hope I got it right. I don’t like the intersections…maybe when it’s sewn together it’ll look better.  I’m really losing confidence in myself, but rather than focusing on the mistakes, just look at all I did correctly!

Lupine mystery

 All pieces are cut and ready to be sewn into blocks. I think it’s going to be a long job…love the design.  Now to get back to the other mystery parts magnificent mystery  note the pinwheel from “kitty ears”

Finally one block! And the reveal

 I sure don’t have the energy to sew all day like I used to!  But I have one block. Still working on parts for this square and the second square.  Here’s what we have so far   Going to be pretty  I would like to see more blue but hard to tell at this point 

New year! Progress is slow

 Progress is slow but it’s still progress. Lots of squaring up to do on both quilts. For some reason I can’t sit down when trimming so it’s stand up only work. I might try using the higher kitchen counter for this, it means dragging stuff downstairs…

It’s so gray and gloomy this January,  I need to see some sunshine soon!  

Lupine mystery part 6

 Finished clues 1,2,3 and still working on clues 4,5,6.  Still squaring up clue 4, it’s slow going.  Make mistakes and have to redo, but will get there. I feel it’s a race against time, but then isn’t it always…

For the Majestic mystery I’m still squaring up the hourglass squares and have started on the checkerboard squares …need to put a photo
