I wanted to start another pattern by Gudrun at https://gequiltdesigns.com but I don’t have the rulers she uses and not sure I have anything I can substitute. It’s called Strip to Shore

Covered in Love
I assembled this and quilted it for a donation quilt, I love the bright cheery colors, it is so nap-worthy looking. I think it is the backing! So I am in need of a project...I’ve got ideas for Lots of quilts but where to start. Maybe I should start a QOV, it’s been some time since I’ve done one of those.

Beautiful June days
Besides enjoying this pretty month I have been doing quilty things. Putting together a group of 30 donated squares into a quilt and quilting it. Not very far along! Then making 25 face masks for a LQS, almost done with them. The enticement for making masks was the chance to win a serger! Here are some...
Speaking of masks I made one from ShabbyFabrics.com and I have to say it is the easiest and fastest one I’ve made yet! Not that I tried them all! I wanted a contoured mask, not a pleated one. It is reversible and so cute. You don’t know how a print will turn out...looks like eyes!

H2H recap
I was able to donate two quilts this year to the H2H project. One went to Quilts of Compassion and one to Quilty Hugs. It has been a strange time indeed and I think quilting kept me grounded. Congratulations to all those involved in this effort!
Just had to show off my pink peonies, poor things fall over outside and actually do better in the house. And fill the room with their sweet scent...

2 more Quilts for Kids
The QFK group is hoping to meet in June, but no one knows for sure. At any rate I have two more completed quilts from kits. I tried the organic wavy line to quilt. Sure is fast!

Block drive
I volunteered to assemble a quilt from donated blocks. They are all different so random placement was called for. I love how the smallest blocks kind of sparkle. It wasn’t until I took a photo I noticed two whitish squares next to each other, something I tried to avoid....
Next up are two quilts for Quilts for Kids...they are pinned and ready for quilting...
Enjoying my Spring flowers...

Binding in place
This is now finished and ready for a quick wash, part of me wanted to bind it with bright yellow, but I calmed down and went for something sensible! I may keep this one because of the sentimental fabric, and it was made during the quarantine. It reminds me of hope radiating....
My crazy Christmas cactus has been blooming, this pink one for Mother’s Day!

Hope is quilted
Liking how this turned out...the backing is some fabric my son brought back from Paris France last year!
