A June finish

Finished the last mystery QOV of Alycia's, and I believe a new mystery starts in July.  Here is my rendition - it's been a very long time since I did straight-line quilting, but I do like how this turned out.

here's the one my sister did, I love the background!

HEY, I finished another quilt

Boy quilting sure is slow going this year, I think I am getting bored of it...but I will still finish all that I've started and perhaps by then I'll have my zest back...
Here is the Meadow Mystery complete and ready to donate to H2H
I'm still recuperating from a broken right foot, 5th metatarsal Jones fracture, another 4 wks non-weight bearing.  Sometimes I cheat and put on a shoe, for dentist appointment, eye appointment, grocery shopping.  Mostly compliant!

Sunday post

My foot feels nearly healed although my next doctor's visit this week will tell for sure.  In the meantime, I've been busy quilting the backlog of quilt tops for donation.
Here is another Charming Stars donated to H2H, specifically Happy Chemo

Here is another Round the World, donated to H2H, specifically to Camp Hobe, for children

and I have a 3rd one quilted just needing the binding, which I will donate to Quilts for Kids.  I discovered there is a local group for this organization, making it so much easier to donate the quilt.  Here it is so far - Charming Hourglass
Still have one more donation quilt top to finish,, plus the humungous Bonnie Hunter mystery, which I know will be time consuming ...  glad to be "back in the saddle"

My long absence from blog

my my, where has the time gone!  I was on a roll until some time in March, then I fell and sustained a fractured foot. So I'm in a boot, non-weight bearing. I hope later this month to be able to sew a little.  So glad I didn't break a hip

a finished top

My En Provence quilt top is finally finished...
I then added borders to the Meadow Mist Mystery, and this one is ready for quilting...
For the 182-Day Solstice, here is block 9, the biggest of the group...
here are the other 8 blocks, the big one above will be in the center with the others positioned around it.  I've seen the layout, kind of excited to finish this one!

AND I'm keeping up with the clues for the QOV mystery with Alycia (Yahoo groups).

En Provence progress

Finally bit the bullet and put this quilt top together - not fun!  but turned out pretty.  I hope all the pieces are going the right way, but really no one would notice if they weren't!  but the perfectionist in me will give it a good look...  Next are the borders...
I have procured backings for the 4 quilt tops that are finished, and then they need to be quilted.  Hope to get a couple done quickly for donation in March...
