Tuesday offering

I finished my little name thing, it is from a Harry Potter alphabet found on http://www.fandominstitches.com/2011/05/harry-potter.html  to hang in  my sewing room!  When I was finished I think I should have placed the letters closer together..

And I started the Zany Zebraz, by the same blogger as the Elephant Parade.  I love these zebras!

and making more of the orange peel blocks you can see in these photos...

Wednesday update

I can't seem to stay focused on any one task and so I've started two new projects!  and I still have two to start that I planned to do, the Snowball Ninepatch sewalong, plus the  Sweet 16 sewalong.  Oh there's plenty of time...!  So I saw the tutorial on the Missouri Star Quilt Company that demonstrated an easy way to make an orange peel block, so I just had to try it since I had a new stack of charm squares.   Then I saw some blogger who had paper pieced her name with the Harry Potter alphabet, and I had to try that too!  Just call me adventurous or something...

and I did get one baby quilt done for donation to H2H, one more to pin.

Scrappy Wednesday

Here are three yellow scrappy blocks for the Rainbow Challenge.  In the remaining days before April's clues, I plan to quilt a couple baby quilts.  That's my plan...

Monday's finish

Finally put the Elephant Parade together, it's now ready to be quilted.  I put an extra border on it, felt it needed something beyond the white.  I plan to quilt it with wavy lines as suggested in the instructions.

Hands2Help Challenge 2015

I'm excited about the Hands2Help challenge, as I will be able to find a home for some of my quilts!  I am signing up for all three charities.
