After a lull of laziness (rest), and being up to date on UFOs I decided to start the Economy Block quilt in the smaller size - the first one I made in a larger size I didn't love. So I'm digging through scraps in the beginning, and I'm liking it so far.

Caught up on current projects
I finished the quilting and binding on this Daisy/Pinwheel baby quilt, it has a cuddly soft backing. So now I am ready to work on a project I started a few months ago, another Around the World quilt using 2.5" strips. I do want to start on the Economy Block quilt using the smaller square, and use up some of my scraps. Always good to have a couple quilts going...

Tell it to the Stars
I started this quilt a long with Judy at PatchworkTimes, http://www.patchworktimes.com/ and made the January block but then did not like the colors I picked at all. So new color scheme, like it a lot better, may even substitute prints for the solids and mix it up a little. Next I'll do the February block....
