Here is the "bonus quilt" from the QOV mystery: it measures 42"x42"
This one was from some donated squares, with flannel on the back, measures 60"x60"
and the QOV mystery, 72" square and heavy!
What's the next project??

Going to join the hexie craze
No pictures yet, but I have my Fiskars hexie punch for making templates, and am hunting for scraps of fabric. I'm not very good at hand sewing, but the 2 I've done for practice are not tedious so I believe I will do all right. Seems like a better use of time when sitting down watching TV than browsing my iPad (which I currently do!).

Suffragette border on, ready to quilt
After trying different colors and color combinations, I elected to just go with one purple border. This is such an odd quilt, going for a simple border seemed best. I wish it were a little longer, and that I'd made it 6x8! One thing I learned from this sampler quilt along besides the wonderful history lessons, was that for sampler quilts fewer different fabrics is better. I'll try and remember that on the next sampler!
hard to get a good picture....
Sunday
I finished this top last night, so the lighting isn't very good. Not sure what to do about border(s). Pepper is taking care of my HST box - see how cozy it is? also she was hiding from all the noise of the party last night (when I took the picture)!
up to date on the Nabby's Dowry squares....
