I've only done one of the star blocks!  and this picture looks so dark, guess it's because it is a rainy and cloudy day.  A previous post has all the chain blocks.

real easy to make, but kind of boring...not sure how to "rev" it up.

I've been working all week on Judy's quiltalong at Patchworktimes.  I'm not quite caught up, but here are the chain blocks. Working on the blocks that go in the blank spaces. I hate it when the blog turns the picture sideways! and I can't fix it...

Monday May 6

I've gone a week with no sewing/quilting, and I've missed having a project.  So today I pinned the last QOV and can get busy quilting it.  Also started the quiltalong with Judy at patchworktimes, doing the patriotic version.  http://www.patchworktimes.com/

Saturday Finish, QOV mystery = Gettysburg

Finished the top to this QOV mystery.  Thinking about a border, I'd sure like to use up the "bonus" HSTs.

Tuesday's finish - Scrappy quilt around the world

This quilt is finished, it was so fun to make and since I still have lots of strips left I want to make another.  The backing fabric was some I bought years ago when beginning to quilt  As a help to picking colors, the advice was to pick a print and then the colors in the print.  I liked this print but never used it as advised!  It's very nice quality.  The other red print I can't remember where it came from....

Oh my, I just realized that this quilt is the last of my UFO's!  I do have some in-progress projects, but this is the point where I can start a BRAND NEW quilt! Yahoo!
