Following Judy's feather lesson.  It gets better as I do them, but still a long way from feeling comfortable with this!  On the feather at the bottom I tried a little bit of echo quilting, I like the depth it adds.

Design Wall Monday - Designer Mystery

I finished making all 12 blocks for the  2011 BOM from the Fat Quarter Shop.  Not sure how I'll put it together, but I have a lot of scraps left over so I hope to use them somehow.  Because I enjoyed this series, I've already signed up for the 2012 series!

Finished the top for the QOV mystery 27.  It measures 57"x68"

Design Wall Monday - Pinwheel Parade

This design is the QOV quilt for February that Judy designed.  It is quilted, labeled and has the presentation case ready for donation.  I will take it next weekend to the HMQS quilt show,  and get free admission with a completed quilt! 

Another UFO completed!

I don't know if this is for April or May, I've lost track, but I'll know when I am done.  This is made of plaid shirts from thrift stores and backed with flannel so it is cozy.  For the binding I used ends of leftover bindings from previous quilts, easy and quick.  I love it!
