My new Featherweight
Bought this on eBay and it arrived today. Her name is Lucy, she was born 1951, and she is cute.. It sews beautifully and is so sweet!
Civil War quilt now has borders
This top has been sitting in a pile for a couple of weeks with the borders added, but not the corner miter done. I was expecting it to be tedious, but once I sat down and did it, it was quite easy. It is a big quilt, and the Kona sashing makes it heavy, but it's ready to quilt. SO glad to be mostly done with this project that took all last year to make. I do like how it came out.

Design wall Monday - quick baby quilt
This is for a cousin's son's daughter! I call it Baby Steps. Love the flannel back that says, "I love Mommy, I love Daddy"

Design Wall Monday - another UFO finished
This pattern is called Summer in the Park, and was made from a video by the Missouri Star Company. It used a jelly roll from Moda plus white Kona for the solid. Quilted with overall stippling. Double bed size. Fun and easy to make.

Design Wall Monday - Baby Log Cabin
I pieced this top at Judy's February retreat, and just finished it. It was quilted with Sulky thread on the top. The back is flannel, Dr. Seuss from Robert Kaufmann. Front is Kona fabrics.
