New project, Lone Star

 I’ve always wanted to make a Lone star quilt.  I bought the kit from a place called Plains and pine. When I first read the directions, I thought I don’t understand. But after watching half a dozen videos, I jumped in and gave it a try. It is so easy and so fun.  Since the strips are 2.5” you could use a jelly roll. Fun times!  I just made 2 more big diamonds  after 8 are made I’ll add background triangles to finish

 I’m going to do half at a time so as to not get mixed up…ha!

Coming together

 I don’t have all of clue 4 but it’s beginning to look like this. I ran out of the white print so using white solids  need to make 7 more white stars I think..I can’t count!

QOV next clue

 Finished three clues, working on #4. Should be able to finish tomorrow. I can’t remember when the next clue is but I’ll be ready  running out of wall space!
