QOV next clue

 Finished three clues, working on #4. Should be able to finish tomorrow. I can’t remember when the next clue is but I’ll be ready  running out of wall space!

 Did these today and sewing machine cooperating, didn’t like the thread I was using!

New project, Winter 2026 QOV QAL

 We (my sister and I) used to do the  QOV quilt alongs by Alycia, so I decided to do her latest.  I’m not as fast as I used to be plus my sewing machine acts like it too has seen better days!  Just finished the first clue, blue stars on a white background,  I had a patriotic fat quarter group so it seemed destined to be.  So now I have 4 projects …quilt my Bonnie quilt; continue working on these quilts..Freida; Lone Star; and the QOV  

Magnificent mystery is finished

 Finally, except to weave in loose ends and give it a light wash…then on to the GE Designs quilt along Freida. And I have always wanted to make a lone star design, I bought a kit from Plains and Pine. Looks challenging!  Oh and at some point quilt up the Frolic quilt from Bonnie’s mystery…

And it’s a quilt top

 I have some blues and greens left so I will make a border to enclose seams and points. I wouldn’t be surprised if something was backwards or upside down!  So glad it’s completed and ready 

to quilt and  gift.  Later….oops I noticed 2 blocks on the furthest end are upside down, so I did fix them no photo

She is a beast😄

 So many seams and points to match…but making progress. Finally finished the half blocks for top and bottom rows. Ran out of black because of mistakes in the beginning so had to do some creative sewing…

More magnificent mystery

 Now that the quiltville mystery is over, I’m now working on the magnificent mystery for my son. Here’s what it looks like so far

Also started the GE designs sew along yesterday, Freida.  I got a slow start having cut some squares wrong. In fact I only have one to show, but have a bunch cut out and ready to sew I’m using a real pretty Moda layer cake collection
