 So that’s 5 quilted now to put the binding on them all. I may just finish before year’s end!  Yeah me!  I’ll photograph all five when done..  I made the best cinnamon rolls, highly recommend this recipe at Whippoorwill Hollow

End of year

 I have been quilting among other things this month. Three quilts quilted and need binding then 2 more to quilt and that’s it. Had hoped to have them all finished by end of year, maybe happening!  And then I can finally START the Bonnie Hunter mystery!  One thing at a time. Christmas was low key this year but good.  For one entire week I didn’t do much but watch Downton Abbey again!  It’s 10 years old but still so enjoyable . It seemed a good thing what with the depressing foggy cloudy smoggy weather. But things are looking up and that includes me!

Oh I did start one wall hanging with a bag of 2.5” squares I bought from The Exuberant quilter some years ago. A color wash design. I’ve rearranged these squares dozens of times but I believe I’ve come to a conclusion and can begin sewing but if you see something I should move, shout out!

A new start, Strip Twist. Made with left over fabric from an earlier quilt (Kimberly).  The white part is from a jelly roll I had left over.  I am making so many mistakes on every step of putting this together. Arrrgh!  Just because I’ve made the pattern before doesn’t mean I  know how to do it!  Hope tomorrow is a better day…

Indigo mystery clue 1 today

—$ Here are my four colors..indigo, red, light blue and yellow.  The listing is by the most of that color, so I’ll make indigo my background followed by red, light blue and yellow. I hate a white background because I don’t have the variety of that one. So I hope it turns out okay. And of course I can always change my mind!  But first going to finish the little ones I’ve started. I think this puts 6 in the queue to be quilted…

OK I’ve already changed my mind and will keep the indigo, red and light blue. For the neutral I found some tan prints and solids.  The rebel in me has to change something but I fear getting confused if I get too rebellious making changes!
