 A quick quiltalong from Gudrun of GE Designs. I cut my fat quarters wrong but managed to salvage the quilt. Here is my temporary layout, but I know I’ll need to switch some squares around before I sew them together  here are my fat quarters, then cut up

Jelly roll race

It’s been a couple weeks since my flurry of sewing, but I’m back in the sewing room.  Remember when the jelly roll race quilt was a thing?  I decided I wanted to do one again, it’s been years. I had a jelly roll of beautiful Williamsburg fabric by Windham Fabrics.  A special place as I went to college there. So over two days I had a quilt top. But it’s missing something maybe a border,  taken in the evening with poor lighting  Will get a better picture with a border

 Here’s the last square and here they are all together. Glad it’s over. Can put together and I even have the backing, a purple minky!

Another Strip Twist

 So fun to make! Just need 30 for the crib size. I used a jelly roll that’s been around for a long time. Utilizing the light strips too..
