Friday catch up

 Decided I don’t like doing a few pieces of each clue in this Grassy Creek mystery, I’d rather make all clue 1, then all clue 2, etc. so since there are two weeks until the next clue, that’s what I’m going to do, plus hopefully get caught up.  Well I am wrong there IS another clue next week

Oh and I have quilted two quilts,for Quilts for Kids, just need to do the binding. No picture yet!

 Just one so far but half a dozen cut out.  Clue 4 is out tomorrow

I’m slower than slow...but it’s a start!  Bonnie says to make what you can and keep up with each clue so I’ll start on clue 3!   And I still have four quilts that need quilting!  

Grassy Creek Mystery

 I got started on Bonnie Hunter’s  mystery which started last Friday. I’ve finished the tops I’ve been working on, and now I have 4 quilts on the to-be-quilted pile, they aren’t big so I’ll slowly get to them. In the meantime got started on the first clue, the second clue came out this morning. I’ve only done a few and strips are ready for cutting and sewing on that first clue!  Here’s a few so far, gold and gray HSTs.  The lighting is bad, nighttime...

Another Gudrun design, Kira

 This is another Gudrun design, Kira. Quick to make the blocks, ready to be sewn together.  Then I’ll be on track to begin the Bonnie Hunter mystery!

New project, Gudrun’s Nova

 This pattern is called Nova. I’ve made the blocks for a crib size quilt, just need to arrange and sew together. And add a couple borders. These are on the wall as I made them, not the final arrangement. There is one more of her patterns I hope to get done, Kira, before starting on the Bonnie Hunter mystery (Friday).

Finishes

 Those last two quilts are finished and washed gently.  I seem to be having trouble with feeding my quilt, it’s either a feed dog problem or operator error.  My Bernina is due for service so will give that a try...

Currently I’m gathering fabrics for Bonnie hunters mystery.  Just finished watching a good show on Netflix, “Offspring.”  Highly recommended and part of the reason my sewing has slowed down!
