Here is this complete and ready to donate. I don’t know the latest with regard to their workshops but pretty sure they are on hold until later. Looking forward to that day!

Another Quilts for Kids
Quilted this one today, gee today was a good day. Warm and sunny, I got my 15 minutes of sunshine. Quilted a quilt. Finally got some windows and blinds cleaned. Although the world isn’t back to normal, I am slowly feeling my old self! Elvira is ready to sandwich and pin, I have a QOV to get back onto, and a few others waiting to start. Life is good...

Elvira update
Wasn’t going to let a quilt get me down, so this morning with fresh eyes I ripped (literally) and rearranged and Finally got all the slants going how they should. Now to sew the rows together....
This was a fat quarter bunch I won in a contest, so now the quilt will go back to QFK (Quilts for Kids.)
Update: here she is! That didn’t take long. Hard to get a good color placement because of the design, but I love it! I saw a cool way to quilt it, parallel lines on a 60 degree slant (both directions), which is how the rectangles were cut. We shall see!

Quarantine life
Well like everyone else, the past month has been a bit of a drag. I haven’t felt like sewing or doing much of anything although I did make face masks for family until my elastic ran out. I’ve followed the quiltalongs, tried to get interested in the Elvira quilt by Gudrun. But after reading the comments about problems and mistakes made, I figured I’d better let it go. I did have two Quilts for Kids kits to work on, so I made both and have finished one with the second one pinned and ready to quilt. Here’s the one finished,
So I now figured I’d tackle the Quarantine quilt, Elvira by Gudrun. Things were going good and I gained confidence and realized what an easy quilt it was, practically made it in a day. I’m almost done sewing the rows together, and in looking closer discover I’ve sewn the blocks together WRONG!! Oh my gosh, now I have to do a lot of ripping...and this same gal is hosting another quiltalong on Sunday May 3rd. https://gequiltdesigns.com/blogs/ge-happenings
Here’s what it’s looking like before I start fixing it:
And here’s what it’s supposed to look like:
The trick is to get those slants going a certain way! I’m going to work on it and if I’ve finished by may 3 I’ll maybe join in. Hope it’s not too much work to fix!

Happy day...Frolic is done
Boy this quilt took just about everything out of me. Huge accomplishment! So glad I persevered, but I’ll not be undertaking something like that again, should have made a 1/2 size which I will do on Bonnie’s next mystery!

International quilting day
Quilting my Frolic! Such a big quilt necessitated setting up a big table and spreading out. Still a beast to work on... I’ll be glad to work on something else!

Ugly quilt
This ugly quilt is finished! Not QOV colors so can’t go there, don’t know what to do with it. But it IS a blanket! The colors remind me of sunflowers...
