Done frolicking

Well the top is done. It’s not done till it is quilted...I’ll try and get a full shot tomorrow. Here’s some of the progress...I changed up the border. Despite my complaining, this quilt went together swell, much of it with no pinning!  Looking forward to starting something new...like Alycia’s QOV mystery and two Quilts for Kids kits I brought home to work on..

This border squares up the quilt and calms the riot!  Working on the outside border next...

Quilt top

Been pushing to progress toward finishing this quilt top. Today I sewed the last half square and sashing, hooray!  The next thing is a narrow border then a border of half square triangles we made weeks ago. Whew I want to be finished with this...

Now it’s looking a little more completed!  Slow but steady. Only four more half blocks to go...

Here is how I plan to do the border, following a narrow frame of the main quilt body, either a neutral or some other color.  Love how the sashing gives movement!  Bonnie sure is awesome..

Half way on one side

Yes this takes up all my attention. There are two quilt alongs I want to join in on but I’ll work on this first... You can begin to see the movement on this pattern, yeah!

More Frolic progress

Slowly making progress!  After completing all the main star blocks I thought I’d see what this project is going to look like. Looks like I need some sashing and more  half blocks...gee who knew this would be so tedious!but glad I stuck with it and can sort of see the light at the end of the tunnel
