Frolic

Yeah Bonnie’s mystery has started, here are my fabrics!  I’ve pulled strips for the first clue, going to the machine now to sew!

Winter quilt along

Working on Alycia’s winter QAL, using yellows for the background and greens and browns for the darks. Looking interesting!

Lone Rider finished

Seems like it took me forever to finish this!  I’m not used to making big quilts, have been making baby/child size this year. But she’s done and washed, ready to donate

I have also started on the mid-winter quilt along that Alycia’s running ...

Here are the colors, yellow, brown and green. Fun!

A most excellent day

Feeling like my old self!  Managed to finish the first two clues of Alycia’s QOV mystery....finally!

Now I know why I was so fatigued

Turns out I have had bronchitis and acute bronchitis for some weeks, and this would be the cause of my no energy. To compound things shortness of breath. So now almost a week on oxygen I’m beginning to feel my “old” self again. Stupid me I never went to a doctor thinking it would pass, but I really should have and caught this earlier before the need of hospital!

Well that’s behind me and I’m even working on Alycia’s mystery QOV quilt, plus it won’t be too long before we know what colors to save for Bonnie Hunter’s mystery. Life is indeed good....

Slow going

I’m still having trouble getting my quilting enthusiasm back. Picked up two kits at the last Quilts For Kids workshop, hoping it would help. They are finished, and I really want to do the QOV mystery although it’s over now!  I have a lot of charm squares, layer cakes and jelly rolls I want to use up.  I need a big shove!!  Here are the latest two QFKs quilts...
