Good Fortune

I started working on Bonnie Hunter’s annual mystery, Good Fortune, and switching around and substituting colors with a black neutral. Here are the first 4-patches. Slow and steady gets to the goal!

QOV is finished

this big beauty is done and ready for presentation. Next up is getting ready for Bonnie Hunters annual mystery. I have all my fabrics pulled, except for neutrals.  And as usual I don’t want to buy any new fabric, so it’s dig through my stash time!

Update, this quilt was presented to a Vietnam vet, it was heartwarming to know someone is enjoying it!

One more baby quilt

This one is for my cousin’s daughter who is due the end of November. That’s the last of family babies but I continue to make quilts for kids.  It’s now quilted and ready to mail.

Latest QOV mystery

heres my rendition of Alycia’s QOV mystery, there was no set way to lay it out and the squares could have been arranged multiple ways.  Oh well, it’s done!

I’m eagerly awaiting Halloween when details of Bonnie Hunter’s mystery will be revealed!

I never posted the pink gingham quilt for baby girl, it is sweet!

more quilts for Quilts for Kids

I made two quilts from one jelly roll, these were so fun, one went to a cousin's grandson and the other one donated to QFK.  Picked up 3 quilts to quilt and bind, and one kit.  So glad there is a Quilts for Kids chapter here!

Sunday progress

I finished my two baby quilts for my cousin’s  twin grand babies, two quilts from one jelly roll!

Then I completed two quilts for our local Quilts for Kids group (QFK) I love this gingham pattern and am making another quilt for another cousin’s grand baby.
