Moda Quilt Along, Camp Oda May

Having fun with the Moda Bake Shop quilt along.  Working on the last few rounds, here is what I have so far.  All from scraps, so not everything will match..  the color is off :( need another pic

I did complete the binding on my QOV quilt...

Next I quilted three quilts for Quilts for Kids (QFK), we have a local chapter which is nice since I used to have to send my quilts to Pennsylvania.  I also donated the Baby Gingham quilt, and have two more cut out and ready to sew.

Sewed a couple more rows on my Postcard from Sweden quilt, I am really slow on this one!  And to add to the mix, started the Moda Bakeshop quilt along, Camp Oda May.  It's a medallion quilt, something I've always wanted to make.  Digging through my stash, looking for fabrics, and here is my center...I figure from here I can add almost any color as the borders are added.  I'm behind, but the many participants are making such pretty tops, I just had to jump in.  http://www.modabakeshop.com/tag/choose-your-own-adventure-qal

some July goals

I hesitate to put in writing a goal...what if I don't accomplish it?  At least it will keep me from forgetting what I was going to do!  I did finish a baby quilt, called "3-Hour Baby Gingham" and it did take about 3 hours to piece, but then it sat around for several weeks.  It's cute...

and then I just finished the quilting on the last QOV mystery of Alycia's, just need to put on the binding

I haven't stepped foot in my sewing room to sew all last month, so I am going to say I'm on vacation!  I keep seeing quilts I want to make, and looking forward for vacation to end....

June is here!

Gee, no posts since May...I guess I’m spending too much time outdoors gardening. Haven’t done anymore sewing.  It got real hot suddenly and the sewing room quickly gets too warm.  But I sure am enjoying more of my flowers, so it’s a happy time.🌺😀

Saturday work

Clicking right along with the Postcard from Sweden quilt top.  I have a system for putting these together that works pretty good, only made one mistake so far!  I have the triangles spread out making pairing easy, then to the sewing machine to put together a row at a time.  Two rows so far...
