Feeling sorry for the cats in Louisiana, I was happy to fulfill a request through the Petfinder Foundation.http://www.quiltpatternmagazine.com/program/KennelQuilt/index.html. I sent off three kennel quilts I made over the weekend. I sorted through some orphan blocks and put them together...(this isn't a very good picture)
And instead of starting a new project this year, I am seriously working on finishing up projects I started last year! more pictures to come...

Bitty Block quilt
My bitty-block quilt is finished! I quilted it with Sulky 60 wt, hoping the quilting would somewhat disappear so the lovely blocks could be seen better. It has a wonderful texture and is a nice nap size!

My Bitty Blocks
Have sewn the bitty blocks together in rows with sashing, and am thinking about another border. The original design calls for a checkerboard border. Maybe a plain border would look better...
I also put together my string rainbow squares and quilted this quilt. I've been busy while in Texas!

Working on Bitty Blocks
Trying to finish up some 2015 quilts, I'm working on putting together my Bitty Blocks. Here is a picture showing my sister's blocks with turquoise sashing, and mine auditioning a red sashing. I can't decide on a color for sashing, so will keep working on putting together the rows!
