Tuesday = 2nd big square block

This block came out much better than the first, will pay closer attention to matching seams, etc.  I am loving how this is looking....

Later:  Finished all 8 blocks plus 2 half blocks - wonder how they go together !

Monday and my head above water

Finally finished the November Bitty Blocks!  December's block is out and ready to work on....later.

I also am working on the December clue for the Midnight Mystery quilt along, one block made.  The remaining 8 blocks require cutting up the biggest square and then reassembling, not a long process...

Sadly I haven't started cutting for Bonnie's winter mystery, but it will be next after I finish the Midnight Mystery blocks.  Slowly I'll catch up!

its December!

November was a busy month, out of town to Texas twice, Thanksgiving, some sickness thrown in.  And I'm so behind on all projects, although did do some sewing both times in Texas..that counts!  I bought a sewing table - the Easy Sew - so I'm looking forward to getting some sewing done and very soon.

For the Meadow Mist Midnight Mystery, here are my November blocks.  I can't figure out a possible placement of the parts! 

and for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, I have made all the stars as well as putting the blocks together!

Bonnie's Mystery - picking fabrics

Today I pulled out more than enough fabric for the mystery, although I am a little short on reds.

 

Yesterday I picked the last of the summer roses, so lovely and fragrant...

 

my second rainbow quilt

The string squares are joined together, put together at my sister's house.   Maybe need borders....

Rainbow scrap quilt

Working on the alternate blocks and sewing all together. At my sister's house and we are making the same quilt. I didn't know the last square was going to be lime and I had already made my alternate block in light green. So that's how it will be. So pretty!
