Wednesday's workings

we're almost finished with the Little Letters quilt,

and up on all the units in the QOV mystery quilt, this is my idea of a possible layout of the pieces...

and I did finish quilting my big star quilt, so cozy with flannel on the back!

I'm caught up with the little letters...

for the QOV mystery, I'm done with the last Friday's clue and ready for the next one.

and for Judy's Tell it To The Stars, I am working on the pieced border..

Still in a holding pattern with Charming Stars, and Pineapples, and alas I have yet to start on the Night Sky Quiltalong!  I just can't decide on fabric is my problem...

and Judy's Tell it to the Stars quilt along - (I've only made one, just to see what it looks like!) but I have all November to finish ..

 

I'm still on track with Charming Stars, and I want to start the Night Sky quilt along ... I really like star patterns!

Saturday finish, my Houndstooth Check quilt

Due to more problems with my Bernina, there was a delay in finishing this.  But $300 and new gears later, my machine runs better than when it was new and that makes me happy.  So this one is finished, just need to bury the threads since I used a slippery thread on top, Glide linen.  I have another quilt pinned and ready to go, should finish it up this next week

my little helper - she jumps up and snuggles in whenever I take a break...

I found some houndstooth check to put on the back, didn't buy enough so filled in with a turquoise sheet!

Also added one more little letter...

Design Wall Monday

I am a week late finishing this 2-color mystery top from Seattle Quilts http://carterquilter.wordpress.com/author/cacarte/ , and I still have the sashing on the bottom and right side to put on.  But was eager to see what it looked like!

Past mysteries

I wanted to do like Kathy did (http://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/2014/10/tracking-mysteries.html) and show my "Bonnie Mysteries."  These are all quilted but I can't find pictures of all completed quilts!
The first one I did was Carolina Crossroads, picture dated January 2008, eventually given to a grandson.  This was all plaid shirts from thrift stores!

2008 Orange Crush, eventually given to a son (after rotating on  my bed!)

2009 Christmas Lights, given to another son.  This was in Quiltmaker magazine, not a mystery

2009, Double Delight, eventually given to my daughter.

2010 Carolina Christmas (I did not do Christmas colors).  This queen/king sized quilt eventually was given as a wedding present for my nephew





2011 Roll Roll Cotton Boll, I have this one.

 2012 Orca Bay, I kept this and use it on my bed, rotated with other favorite quilts.

  

2013 Easy Street, kept (looking for the picture)

2013/14 Celtic Solstice, kept

and the 2014/15 mystery soon to start!
