the top is put together, although I'm considering trimming the sides plus adding a border to enlarge it, since I have leftover fabric....

Sunday work

Here are the 16 blocks for Tell it to the Stars quilt along.  The four corners are the blocks for July.  No more room on my design wall!  Wonder how it will all go together...

Friday Finish - Tell it to the Stars June block

I made one block, will do the other one tomorrow.  Not a whole lot of contrast, I hope I got the colors in the right place - whole lot of yellow going on!

Triangle rows done

I got the triangles into rows, just laid out randomly.  I'll rearrange later before sewing the top together.  I really don't care how they end up, in fact it's about impossible at this point to care!

Triangle quilt progress

There are 10 rows sewn and, depending on how many triangles I have, I'll be making this several triangles wider and a few rows longer.  this 2nd one is going faster than my first, since I know not to make all the mistakes I made the first time!

Well now I have to eat my words, I was supposed to make this 17 triangles across (I only did 12), so first thing I need to do is lengthen each row - at least I don't have to rip out anything !
