Thursday Finish

This 2012 Designer BOM mystery is now all finished, I love the soft yummy colors.  It's ready for a nap!  When I told my granddaughter the back looked good enough to eat, she replied she didn't think she'd want to eat it!  NO imagination! reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream without the choc chips....

Designer Mystery BOM for 2012 quilt top

It sure has taken be a long time to put this one together.  I'm not loving all the light of the border, but I did try and follow the suggested finishing idea, with my leftover scraps.  For the border I had to dig into my Kona bone.  It will be pretty quilted and I love the soft colors.

Next to work on is the Yahoo military mystery, plus get ready for Bonnie's mystery!

Weekend Progress

I am putting together the top from the Designer BOM.  I am desperately trying to use all the leftover pieces to do the sashing and borders.  Getting to be a challenge as I am down to the first and second border.  Somehow I'll make it!

October finishes

I finished this placemat/table runner set, which was a Quiltaholics mystery several years ago.

Slowly getting the back log cleared in preparation for new mysteries and other starts!
