Thursday's finish

Finally added the last border to this top.  Now to find a backing and get it quilted!  Not as much motivation in the hot weather!

Finish it up Saturday

Here is the 12th block for this block of the month quilt.  Now I need to sew the 12 squares together with sashing and border.

Busy week, graduation, gardening, reading, although I did get some of the borders on Judy's quiltalong quilt.  (No picture until the top is done)  Here are some more flowers in bloom, my poppies which bloomed for Memorial Day.

These pretty iris are blooming.  I believe these are a Martha Stewart variety.

Design Wall Monday - Judy's quiltalong

I've only done one of the star blocks!  and this picture looks so dark, guess it's because it is a rainy and cloudy day.  A previous post has all the chain blocks.

I've been working all week on Judy's quiltalong at Patchworktimes.  I'm not quite caught up, but here are the chain blocks. Working on the blocks that go in the blank spaces. I hate it when the blog turns the picture sideways! and I can't fix it...
