Finished this up in my spare time today!

Monday May 6

I've gone a week with no sewing/quilting, and I've missed having a project.  So today I pinned the last QOV and can get busy quilting it.  Also started the quiltalong with Judy at patchworktimes, doing the patriotic version.  http://www.patchworktimes.com/

Saturday Finish, QOV mystery = Gettysburg

Finished the top to this QOV mystery.  Thinking about a border, I'd sure like to use up the "bonus" HSTs.

Tuesday's finish - Scrappy quilt around the world

This quilt is finished, it was so fun to make and since I still have lots of strips left I want to make another.  The backing fabric was some I bought years ago when beginning to quilt  As a help to picking colors, the advice was to pick a print and then the colors in the print.  I liked this print but never used it as advised!  It's very nice quality.  The other red print I can't remember where it came from....

Oh my, I just realized that this quilt is the last of my UFO's!  I do have some in-progress projects, but this is the point where I can start a BRAND NEW quilt! Yahoo!

Friday's work, quilting the quilt

Although I usually stipple my quilts, I am going to do simple diagonal lines on this one.  I love this quilt and am thinking of the next one!  Love how it uses 2.5" strips especially those jelly rolls I bought with no idea of how to use them!

Friday finish - Poseidon quilt

I think I like the name - Sea Glass - better for this quilt.  All Kona cotton on front, and it naps very nicely!

Finished this up today, the back is soft and cuddly flannel.
