We have a quilt top!

No floor space to take a picture, but here it is on the bed.  I worked all day to get this finished, it really went together quickly and seams matched up pretty well.  It's not ironed yet, but it's done, Yahoo!

Easy Street, Part 8, Block B

and now the B blocks are done, and starting to lay out the design....  Too early to pass judgment on whether I like this quilt or not!  I'll start sewing squares together after I do some rearranging.

there are 16 of these, pretty easy to assemble.  Of course they won't end up in this configuration, there is a Block B to add.

now to devise a quick method of putting the blocks together.  Not sure I like all the different colors, patterns.  Need to make more to see what the design really looks like!  Oh and I need to turn these on point!  Here they are with the setting triangles.

Christmas 2012

I decided to post my christmas pictures here so I can look back and see what a great time we had all together. I of course wish I had taken more shots but it was so noisy and cramped it was difficult. We all did pose for a family picture which is on a "professional" camera, so don't know when I'll see it.

 Sami took this picture one sunset then had it enlarged as a wall hanging.  Some of his photographs hang in buildings at the University of Utah!
