Another UFO completed!
I don't know if this is for April or May, I've lost track, but I'll know when I am done. This is made of plaid shirts from thrift stores and backed with flannel so it is cozy. For the binding I used ends of leftover bindings from previous quilts, easy and quick. I love it!

FANtastic Friday!
I am doing freestyle baptist fans today. This is the first time freestyle, I did the fan design once before when I marked it (what a lot of work). This is so easy, just count 1-2-3-4. I am using the BSR with the round plastic foot, using it as a sort of measurement between arcs. Great idea if I do say so myself! There is a learning curve, so it gets better as I go back for forth on the quilt. You can see the wobbly stitching in the close up! It's really fun and goes fast. This is a practice quilt, as I am making it for myself. It's made of plaid shirts from thrift stores in a whack-n-stack pattern (I think). The backing is leftover flannel from making nightgowns for my grandaughters. It will be fun to snuggle up in this when it's cold. This may be my new favorite way to quilt...
