Quilts for Kids

This is the quilt for Quilts for Kids. It was fun to work on such a small project. Will make a second one and send both.

Here is the Hexagon quilt I worked on in Texas, with a close up of the block showing material I ordered for the backing. The colors are very sweet.

Bonnie's Christmas Lights finished

finished this mystery of Bonnie's, trying to make it not look christmasy! It is a nice nap size, soft and cuddly. Now I'm ready for a new project.

UFO #11 - Double Delight

I can't believe I have quilted 11 quilts! Only 1 to go until finished. This quilt is quite heavy, should be warm.

UFO #10 - Big Star

I finally finished this big quilt, and it really is lovely if I do say so myself. Looks nice on my bed too.

I also made a maverick star for the QOV thing on Crazymom's blog.

UFO #9 - Bears in the Farmhouse

Yeah, another one finished! I can't believe how fast this quilting went, and no thread breaks or skipped stitches. I did put in a new needle, but everything else remained the same - using a sheet as a backing, a cheap Walmart one (used). The batt was a Mountain Mist Quilt Light, it turned out so soft, flexible and napable. Now I have 3 quilts left to finish.
