Judy's Stash Project

We are working on Judy's stash project, and here are pictures of our creations. Charlene's is in calicos and mine is in brights.

Bears in the Farmhouse top finished

I am finished with this top, mitered corners and all. They were not hard although this is the first I have ever done it.

Progress so far on the Bears in the Farmhouse quilt. The next clue isn't for 2 weeks, so now would be a very good time to work on quilting some of my tops. Unless Bonnie has something in the works for a St Patrick's green quilt....

Sunday's accomplishments

Today I finished the quilt top for Judy's stash blocks. I love how it turned out. I used only scraps from other quilt projects and 6" squares and only had to cut into fabric for the setting triangles. I'd like to do another one sometime!



Then I finished the 30 squares for the QOV mystery, just need to sew them together and add a border. I don't like the orientation of the picture but can't change it.


and I also finished the 12 Bears in the Farmhouse blocks. I am not real happy with the color of the sash but I'm not about to rip it out!

Stash project, and other projects

Here are my 24 blocks for Judy's stash project. I used small pieces of fabrics, either from fat quarters, fat eighths, or 6" squares. They are quite a strange assortment of fabrics, I hope they go together in the end. These were fun to do and I'd like to make another one with a theme in mind.

Here are my HST's, they went together quickly and were surprisingly accurate, although I did check each one for size.
